As we gear up to celebrate, we decided to dive into the community and conduct a survey to uncover how everyone plans to celebrate the occasion. Are you craving tacos, burritos, or perhaps some mouthwatering Carne Asada? Stay tuned as we spill the beans (pun intended) in this week’s blog post!”
Before we get into the festivities, let’s take a quick trip down memory lane.
Cinco De Mayo commemorates the Mexican army’s victory over France at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. Also known as the Battle of Puebla Day, it’s a day steeped in rich history and cultural significance.
During our week-long survey, we received responses from 58 participants excited to share their Cinco De Mayo plans, answering questions about their preferences on ‘what,’ ‘where,’ and ‘margarita?’ Below are the insightful findings from our survey.
Here’s a fun fact for our readers: Our community boasts a total of 30 Mexican eateries, including hidden gems like Wilsons Markets and the newly opened Eduardo’s Taco Shop in Empire.
