Honestly, this has been mine and my fiancées "Cheers" restaurant since we moved here, there is no better chowder in the area, we've tried almost all of it. Every bad day we have everything we celebrate from our engagement to our losses, this place is where we go to make us feel better. Captains chowder spells comfort. Let me not forget their Fettuccine Alfredo that deserves a huge shout out! 100% recommend the Blackened Chicken, but my fiancée swears by the seafood. BEST I've had from any restaurant ever. No comparison. Granted they make the sauce from scratch so the flavor varies slightly sometimes, some days it's amazing, some days it's mind-blowing phenomenal and a true devastation that I ate a whole plate... Honestly, the atmosphere is really small shanty beach town, but the food screams 5 star classy dining.

Moving here from Boise I didn't think I'd ever have good yellow curry again, I'm REALLY snobby about curry... I dragged my feet about trying this place until my fiancée forced me because he was sick of hearing me whine about wanting to fly to Boise just for Curry... Full disclosure when I saw they put peppers, onions and potatoes and didn't have pineapple like I was used to, I thought there's no way this is going to be good. Ive never been so happy to be SO wrong. Granted I nix the onions and peppers and add pineapple (because I'm a child), it's the best! It's the only thing get there, but when friends and family visit this is a go-to and everyone loves it!
