Jill, the mastermind behind Highwater, had a dream of contributing something special to Reedsport. Originally envisioning apartments, fate had a different plan during inspections. Undeterred, Jill pivoted and dedicated the space into a welcoming haven for all.
Jill, originally from Portland, made the bold move to Reedsport with a vision to contribute to the community’s growth. Her dedication is evident in every corner of Highwater, from the carefully curated interior to the “made in Oregon” products that adorn the shelves.
“Lift All Boats”
The mantra of Highwater, “Lift All Boats,” embodies the spirit of community upliftment. Jill’s passion and determination have turned this space into more than just a cafe—it’s a hub for connection, community, and a taste of Oregon’s finest.

Having had the privilege of sampling some of Highwater’s delights, I can attest to the magic that awaits your taste buds. The salted caramel iced coffee is a sweet and creamy delight, and the chicken and waffle sandwich with cooked whole pieces of bacon was a perfect breakfast option.
